Load Cabinet for Switches Intended for Self-Ballasted Lamp Loads IEC 60669-1 LED Test System
1 Product Overview:
This load cabinet is used to test the switching capability of a switch under self-ballasted lamp loads. Switches used to control self-ballasted lamps must withstand the electrical and thermal stresses encountered when controlling LED circuits without excessive damage or other harmful effects. The purpose is to verify whether the switch exhibits sustained arcing, contact welding, or prolonged contact closure or open conditions, verifying excessive wear and other harmful effects. This LED load fully meets the load requirements for switches used to control self-ballasted lamps, as specified in Section 19.3 of GB/T 16915.1-2014 and IEC 60669-1:2021, "Switches for Household and Similar Fixed Electrical Installations - Part 1: General Requirements."
2 Equipment Features:
1. This load cabinet can be pre-set with the load conditions required by the standard, and can be tested directly by calling it. The test voltage is adjusted to 115V~ to 125V~, and the operator presses the switch button with the same rated current as the switch to be tested. Its rated power, impulse waveform, Ipeak and I2t will meet the corresponding requirements of the standard.
2. The operation is convenient and intuitive, with digital display of input voltage and output power. The display can observe the current impact Ipeak current value and I2t energy value.
3. With three workstations, it can test three switches simultaneously.
4. Equipped with a metering mode and dedicated metering port, the built-in 90-degree closing plate facilitates measurement of output waveforms, Ipeak current values, and I²t energy values, fully meeting standard equipment metering requirements.
5. This load cabinet is equipped with a voltage regulator inside, which can achieve the voltage of 115V~ to 125V~ required for switch testing without the need for an external voltage regulator.
3 Technical Parameters:
1) Power supply: The control power supply is single-phase AC220V±10%/50Hz with ground wire.
2) Digital Voltage Display: Range 0-300V, 0.5-level accuracy.
3) Digital Power Display: Range 0-1kW, 0.5-level accuracy.
4) Output Channels: 3.
5) Each channel has a preset rated switching voltage and 10 test positions; other positions can be customized.
6) Input voltage is adjustable to ensure the correct test voltage.
7) All operating parameters are adjustable, including W, Ipeak, I²t, and inrush current waveforms.
8) Ipeak, I²t, and inrush current waveforms are displayed directly on the display.
9) Each device is equipped with a closing control (select "Metering" on the touchscreen). This function ensures that the device is always closed at a 90-degree angle. This function can be used for initial calibration and metrological verification. 10) It has long-off/long-on protection function, the protection time 1~999S can be preset, and the machine will stop and alarm during protection.
11) Operating Environment: Temperature 5-40°C, relative humidity 20-90% RH, atmospheric pressure 80-106 kPa. A place without severe vibration, electromagnetic interference, dust, corrosive gas, and good heat dissipation.
4 Usage Environment:
Approximate dimensions are: width (900mm) x depth (900mm) x height (1850mm). The frame is blue, and the side panels are light white.
The operation control panel is located at the top of the front. There are control power switch, alarm, touch screen, etc. on the top, and resistor and capacitor load combination, AC contactor and relay inside.
There are terminals at the bottom of the box, which are connected to the products in the test machine through wires to output current and provide load during the test process.
